There is no question for the people of God that we are to be "fishers of men". The difficulty for many of us is to get where the fish are. AND even when we get close to the fish to "earn the right" to be heard. How many of us are turned off by sales pitches over the phone or in person? Sadly, some types of evangelism have the flavor of a sales pitch.

We challenged ourselves to look at the avenues in which we have the most contact with unbelievers. We also challenged ourselves to look at where our own legitimate interests were. The result of all this was the creation of our ministry teams.

Below are listed some of our teams. Included are capsule statements about their particular focus.

"Steps of Faith" an addiction team. A team in formation with a desire to share the gospel and minister to those with addictions of different types. Has a long range goal of a hot-line and a home.

Benevolence Team. Individuals and families sometimes need financial help. This team evaluates those requests and follows up with ministry.

Lamplighter Team. Carries flowers to the elderly and shut-in on a monthly basis.

New Door Ministry. Our goal and mission is to fulfill Matthew 28:19-20, by knocking on every new door in our community.
