My favorite verse with the word “SALVATION” is Isaiah 51:8. I have to include verse 7 for context and clarity.  Without His righteousness I wouldn’t have the desire to study His Word and “…hide it in my heart…” (paraphrase of Psalm 119:11). Because of all He gives me as part of my salvation, I can be fearless in the face of anyone’s attacks.  All things will eventually be destroyed, but God’s righteousness and salvation will last forever.  Because I am His, they are mine also.  What a promise!  What a joy!

This note reminds me of Psalm 45:1 “My heart is overflowing with a good theme;  I recite my composition concerning the King;  my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
